Elizabeth Farm Tearoom

Nestled in the shade of the jacarandas, the Elizabeth Farm Tearoom offers a delicious range of homemade cakes and biscuits, freshly made sandwiches, and our ever popular Devonshire tea.

Do you fancy two scones, strawberry jam and whipped cream, served with tea or coffee for $9.50? It’s a well loved tradition at the tearoom. We offer a variety of scones each week: passionfruit and white chocolate, pumpkin and date, blueberry and almond, and more… you’ll want to return time and time again to try them all!

The tearoom uses fresh produce from the Elizabeth Farm kitchen garden depending on the season, meaning the ‘paddock to plate’ concept is only a few steps away. And all our sweet treats are made on site each morning, with tempting aromas from the oven adding to the friendly atmosphere.

Original inhabitant of Elizabeth Farm, Mrs Elizabeth Macarthur wrote of spending pleasant afternoons taking tea with her friend and family governess, Penelope Lucas. You too can immerse yourself in the history of Elizabeth Farm and ‘take tea with Miss Lucas’.

Experience the tranquillity of the Elizabeth Farm gardens while you relax and enjoy teas popular in the 1820s. Choose from a selection of T2 teas or have a 'proper cup of coffee' made with Calima freshly ground beans.

The Elizabeth Farm Tearoom offers indoor dining or a delightful courtyard, both with garden and house glimpses.

The Elizabeth Farm Tearoom can also be booked for private functions, or inquire about our popular high teas, available for groups of over 20.
