Get a taste of convict life at the Hyde Park Barracks Museum. Discover what it’s like to wake up in a convict’s hammock when the morning bell rings, then be marched off to grind the corn and make hominy, the convict’s breakfast. Prepare for fun!
Join us in the kitchen garden and discover the delights of home-grown produce. Then head into the colonial kitchen where you’ll bake damper, make butter and prepare your own lemonade.
