Assistant Curator Aboriginal Interpretation Projects (Identified role)

Location: Curatorial & Exhbitions, The Mint

Role status: Temporary full-time (up to 31 December 2017)

Role Grade/Classification: Assistant Curator Grade 2 - $87,997. Package includes salary ($71,438 - $79,384), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Closing date: 11:59pm Monday 29 May 2017

This role develops and delivers curatorial content for interpretation projects, exhibitions, programs and digital outcomes to reach and attract wider audiences with a specific focus on the Aboriginal stories and cultural heritage of Sydney and SLM museums. This involves extensive community consultation and liaison, research, writing and otherwise capturing content as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
