SLM wins three National Trust Heritage Awards

Today Sydney Living Museums won three major awards at the 24th Annual National Trust Heritage Awards at Doltone House, Pyrmont.

Sydney Living Museums had four projects short-listed. The competition was extremely high this year as noted by the Head Judge. We were therefore absolutely elated to win three major awards:

Conservation - Built Heritage

Hyde Park Barracks Stonework Remediation Project

Education & Interpretation

Convict Sydney website

Heritage events, Exhibitions & Tours

The Moderns: European Designers in Sydney

We also note Elisha Long, our former Head of Heritage won the Cathy Donnelly Memorial Award for Outstanding Female Heritage Professional; and Tim Ross, who supports so many of our projects, won the Advocacy Award. Additionally, our Marion Hall Best exhibition was also short-listed in the Heritage Events, Exhibitions & Tours category, a big achievement in itself.
