National Volunteer Week 2018

As part of National Volunteer Week, Sydney Living Museums was proud to host our fifth Annual Volunteers’ Morning Tea at The Mint yesterday.

Volunteers were joined by staff and trustees to recognise and celebrate the significant contribution our volunteers make every day at our museums and heritage places.

The achievements of volunteers were showcased in a special presentation highlighting the impact of volunteer support across diverse roles including tour guiding, event work, gardening, needlework, outreach, research and administration.

Volunteers who have supported the organisation for five, ten or 15 years were presented with length-of-service awards to recognise their outstanding commitment and dedication.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers for their wonderful contribution to Sydney Living Museums and for helping bring our museums to life!
