NIDA students in costume at the Barracks & The Mint

NIDA costume design students, in the very costumes that they designed, were photographed in Court 24 at the Hyde Park Barracks last Monday 6 August.

Passers-by may have noticed them on Friday at the front of The Mint in their period costume on a second photo shoot.

We have an ongoing relationship with NIDA costume design who last year designed these costumes in a project that resulted in a floor display in the Silhouettes Gallery.

Costumes made and modelled by NIDA Costume students at the Hyde Park Barracks Museum and at The Mint. Photos courtesy NIDA Costume.

Play along with us: House Music at Your HouseMonday 17 August 2020

We invite you to join us in a new musical experiment, bringing the music of the 19th century into the 21st century.
