Expression of interest: Learning Advisory Panels
Sydney Living Museums (SLM) Learning Advisors will provide advice on current and new learning programming and projects at SLM museums and heritage places, to ensure that our programs are engaging, innovative, and inclusive, supporting key curriculum and extending classroom learning.
This is a voluntary role.
SLM Learning Advisors gain valuable experience and professional insights in museum education, opportunities to participate in research and program development and discounted access to resources.
In 2019, SLM Learning will be engaging in the development of new programs across Stages 1-6, focusing largely on the NSW History syllabus, with links to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures Cross Curriculum Priority.
Panel members will be required to:
- complete an induction to Sydney Living Museums
- attend meetings or workshops outside of school hours – up to 4 hours per term
- read papers, prepare for meetings and provide comprehensive feedback
