Design Internship – How to Move a Zoo Exhibition
Sydney Living Museums is presenting How to move a zoo, an immersive digital exhibition at Museum of Sydney, including outputs in the Museum of Sydney forecourt plus site activations at a number of other locations. The exhibition tells the fascinating story of the 850 animals that were relocated from the confines of Moore Park Zoo to their new home at Taronga on Sydney’s north shore, amidst the upheaval and uncertainty of the Great War. This internship provides an opportunity for a student designer to gain valuable experience working within a multidisciplinary design team comprising 2D and 3D exhibition designers, marketing and campaign designers, and audio visual and digital designers. The intern will work within a collaborative team environment, contributing to the development of design ideas and solutions and assisting in the delivery of the project across varied outputs. The student intern will have the opportunity to work closely with different design specialists within the team and contribute to aspects of each stage of the project. SLM is looking for a creative student who enjoys thinking broadly and who thrives in multidisciplinary design environment.
