Carole Beales

Visitor & Interpretation Officer

Carole Beales a Visitor interpretation Officer for Sydney Living Museums

Carole has been a Visitor Interpretation Officer at Sydney Living Museums for seven years. She spends her days explaining our unique history to visitors and is always happy to take questions. It makes her day when she is able to spark an interest in our amazing places and  their history. Carole has a particular interest in European colonial and Aboriginal history and our unique natural areas.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Applied Science (Parks, Recreation and Heritage) degree, she worked around Sydney Harbour National Park in heritage and environmental education for 20 years. The position at SLM has enabled Carole to fill in the gaps in her knowledge. She is also a longterm volunteer guide at the Royal Botanic Gardens and a keen leader for bushwalking clubs.
