Children & Family

In line with recent NSW Government announcements, all Sydney Living Museums properties will close to the public from Saturday 26 June until further notice to help protect the health of all visitors and staff and minimise the spread of COVID-19. For more information visit our COVID update page.

These spring school holidays, check out a range of activities inspired by our museums and exhibitions that you can do at home.

Re-use, recycle and repurpose material on hand to make your own wings or magic lantern. Try recipes inspired by our collections, including refreshing lemonade. Discover what life was like for children attending the Rouse Hill schoolhouse in the 19th century.

With our museums temporarily closed we hope you enjoy the opportunity to do something a little different.

We'd love to see your creations! Share your images with us on Instagram, tag @sydlivmus #DiscoverSLM
