In Conversation with Annabel Crabb, Carol Ferrone and Jacqui Newling

Join TV host Annabel Crabb, Further Back in Time for Dinner’s Carol Ferrone and Sydney Living Museums’ Jacqui Newling as they discuss the 1910s - an eventful decade marked by patriotism, war, food shortages and a pandemic. 1910 was the decade explored in episode 2 of Further Back in Time for Dinner which can be viewed on ABC iview before joining the conversation.

Join us as we explore life on the home front, fundraising for the war effort and the rise of the ‘great picnic trade’ in Sydney.

The conversation will take place around the kitchen table at Vaucluse House as your hosts prepare rolled oat biscuits, affectionately known as Anzac biscuits, using a recipe from Sydney Living Museums’ collection.

This pre-recorded event will be followed by a live Q&A hosted by Jacqui Newling and Carol Ferrone.
