Discover the handsome 1817 Anglo-Indian bungalow Glenfield restored by Sydney Living Museums and now a much loved family home.

Colonial pioneer Dr Charles Throsby built this handsome bungalow in 1817. Its elegantly proportioned rooms and fine timber joinery are reminders of the high aspirations of early colonial builders. Following extensive refurbishment and restoration by Sydney Living Museums, the property is now in the hands of a new owner who has breathed new life into Glenfield, now a family home and showpiece of contemporary conservation.
