Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine

Curious about Chinese medicine? This talk is the perfect introduction to this ancient and fascinating science. Demonstrations on the application of Chinese medicine are included.

Traditional Chinese medicine dates as far back as the Shang dynasty (14th-11th centuries BCE) in China and includes various forms of herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage, exercise and dietary therapy.

This talk will be hosted by M.P. Tsim, an expert in Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Tsim holds a license for Hong Kong Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science (TCM) and a Master’s in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from University of Western Sydney, Australia. He is also a member of The Australian Traditional Chinese Medicine Association and a member of Federation of Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Societies of Australia.
