Members Curator Up Close: Sydney Snapshots

Members are invited to a Members only viewing of Sydney Snapshots: 1900s–1940s, which explores highlights from a treasure-trove of images taken by the NSW Government Printing Office (GPO) Photographic Branch.

The exhibition presents a curated selection of 28 images – spanning Australia’s Federation to World War II – from the vast GPO collection held by NSW State Archives. The images have been digitally reproduced from original glass-plate negatives.

Join Curator Kim Tao to discover stories of the people, places and events that shaped our city in the first half of the 20th century.
