Razorhurst walking tour with Larry Writer

Go beyond the museum walls in this engaging walking tour of Darlinghurst once known as ‘Razorhurst’.

Larry Writer, author of Razor: Tilly Devine, Kate Leigh and the Razor Gangs, will conduct a walking tour through the notorious streets of Darlinghurst – aka ‘Razorhurst’, named for a spate of cutthroat razor attacks in the 1920s and ‘30s and which was the heartland of Tilly Devine’s brothels and Kate Leigh’s sly grog and cocaine dens. Sydney’s notorious underworld will be brought to life in situ, highlighting key sites of interest, notorious hangouts and key personalities as featured in the exhibition.

Ages 16+

We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and a hat, and bring a bottle of water.
