Food preserving online class with Cornersmith

Spring Harvest Online Edition

Streaming live from Vaucluse House, this food preserving class hosted by Sydney café and picklery Cornersmith focuses on a range of whole ingredients, including vegetables growing in the kitchen garden at the estate.

Drawing on old-fashioned wisdom, this class will teach home cooks how using whole vegetables is not only more economical, but also better for the planet and a great way to organise the kitchen! 

Learn how to store seasonal produce for longer life; what to do with tired vegetables; quick preserving ideas; and how to use up odds and ends with great results.



Cornersmith is two cafes and a picklery based between Marrickville and Annandale. At the picklery we make all our pickles and preserves by hand, using local, seasonal produce.
