The doll's house

This exhibition presented the history of doll’s houses in Australia from 1870-1950.

It explored the world of the Australian doll’s house - from the handmade to the manufactured; the elaborate to the basic; the adapted butterbox to the converted travelling trunk. Each house was featured for its unique design, interesting architecture, interior furnishings and family history.
