Origins & identity at Meroogal

Meroogal is a house in Nowra lived in by four generations of women from the Thorburn family, from 1886 to 1985. The women lived frugal but satisfying and interesting lives. They made their own clothes, upholstered furniture and tended an orchard and vegetable garden.
