Strikes, lockouts and equal pay

Between 1927 and 1977, the Industrial Commission of New South Wales operated from Queens Square, Macquarie Street. This display took a fascinating look at the history of the commission and the types of strikes, lock-outs and equal pay cases which were heard within the industrial courtrooms at the Hyde Park Barracks.
