Wanderlust: journeys through the Macleay Museum

Wanderlust had mixed motives and emotions: earnest inquiry into types of knowledge, scholarly revision of Australian imperialism; curiosity at our voyeurism, sensationalism, fear and disgust; and acknowledgment of indigenous peoples, of our differences, and entanglement in our past, present and future together.

This exhibition was a unique and eccentric charting of the oceans of stories flowing though Oceania and this harbour city of Sydney.

In collaboration with the Macleay Museum, University of Sydney.
