Kim Connor

Kimberley (Kim) Connor is a historical archaeologist and food historian whose research focuses on food in institutional settings. She has excavated on archaeological sites in Scotland and China, and completed artefactual analysis in Australia. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate at Stanford University, and is in Sydney completing artefactual analysis and archival research on the food and dining practices in the Female Immigration Depot at Hyde Park Barracks. Kim also loves historical recipe books, or receipt books as they're sometimes called, and spends much of her free time cooking old, weird and wonderful dishes
