Become a participating building

As one of Australia’s foremost curated architectural programs, Sydney Open relies on the generous support of building owners and stakeholders like you.

Our exciting program for Sydney Open 2019 will open even more buildings and spaces that are usually off-limits to the public, alongside new talks and tour experiences.

To be part of Sydney Open 2019, we invite you to submit an expression of interest (EOI).

This year we will base our selection criteria on:

  • Architectural significance: strong and unique design
  • Access: sites & buildings not typically available to public
  • Appeal: ability to engage and excite a diverse range of audiences

Please select from the programs below:

Focus Tour Program (Saturday 2 November)

Become part of our highly-anticipated focus tour program offering small, intimate tours for around 20-30 people and running for 1-2 hours. Usually led by an architect, expert or building owner, Focus Tours are Sydney-wide.

Please submit your Focus Tour EOI here.

Sydney Open Buildings Program (Sunday 3 November)

Become part of the 50+ buildings that open their doors to the public for one day only. Sydney Open 2019 will take place in the CBD, with East Sydney launching as a new precinct this year.

Please submit your Sydney Open Buildings EOI here.

Key dates

  • EOI opens Monday 25 March 2019.
  • Buildings will be notified in May 2019.
