Our contemporary event spaces at the Museum of Sydney and The Mint offer an ‘end-to-end’ solution for your next meeting, delivered by our experienced Venue Services and Audiovisual teams. The location and style of our venues, combined with our understanding of the corporate market, will ensure a seamless experience for your directors, partners and shareholders.

The Gold Melting Room

The Mint, 10 Macquarie Street, Sydney

Accommodating 120 theatre style, the innovative design of this room provides great flexibility for your next AGM. Automated cedar louvre screens allow full control of natural light. Motorised glass panes allow a flow of fresh air, and access to an expansive sandstone courtyard. The stylish bar also opens to the courtyard and is perfect for pre- or post-meeting refreshments. The sandstone courtyard and bar area are included in your venue hire.

The following integrated audiovisual equipment is included in the venue hire:

  • data projector and screen
  • lectern, microphone, audio system
  • in-house audiovisual technician

Warrane Theatre

Museum of Sydney, cnr Bridge and Phillip streets, Sydney

Featuring tiered seating and fully integrated audiovisual facilities managed by our in-house Audiovisual Services staff, the Warrane Theatre is ideal for financial results and annual general meetings. The theatre seats 126, and the flexible lobby area, included in your venue hire, is perfect for refreshments.

  • in-house audiovisual technician

Both the Museum of Sydney and The Mint feature fully integrated audiovisual facilities, ensuring clients have access to seamless technology. Our in-house Audiovisual Services team can provide any additional audiovisual and telecommunications equipment you require, including: 

  • webcasting and teleconferencing
  • panel set-up with table microphones
  • lapel and cordless microphones
  • laptops and foldback monitors
  • electronic voting system
  • autocue system
  • video and audio recording
  • phone lines and conference phones
  • high-speed internet connection

Set-up and technical support by a dedicated audiovisual operator are included with equipment hire.

No.10 Bistro is situated on the first floor of The Mint, and serves modern bistro-style food from 11:30am – 3:00pm weekdays. No.10 Bistro also offers private dining and exclusive event hire on the balcony and adjoining main dining room at other times.

No.10 Store

The Mint's original Bullion Room has been transformed into a café and retail space. Open from 7:30am until 3:00pm each weekday, No.10 Store serves coffee, tea, chilled drinks and a light all-day menu, as well as fresh flowers and gifts.

Espresso Cart No. 37 Phillip

The Mint is located at 10 Macquarie Street, Sydney. There is no public parking at The Mint, however, the Domain Car Park offers a special early-bird rate and is a ten-minute walk from The Mint. Enter from St Mary’s Road.

Corner Phillip and Bridge streets, Sydney

The Museum of Sydney is located on the corner of Phillip and Bridge streets, Sydney. There is no public parking available, however, the Sydney Opera House Car Park offers an early-bird rate and is a short walk from the museum.
