State Memorial Service for Dr Jack Mundey AO

A NSW State Memorial Service for the late Dr Jack Mundey AO will be held on Wednesday 10 March.

Mundey, who served as Chair of the Historic Houses Trust of NSW from 1995 to 2001, is remembered as a conservationist who led Sydney’s Green Bans movement during the 1970s, which prevented the destruction of many historic Sydney sites including our very own Susannah Place.

SLM is loaning Robert Hannaford’s 2001 portrait of Mundey, to be displayed at the Memorial Service.

While capacity to attend the service in-person is limited, a live stream will be available to watch online here.
