Hospitality Partner Opportunity at Museum of Sydney

A rare opportunity awaits a strategic & innovative restauranteur, catering and hospitality service provider capable of creating and delivering a contemporary vision, concept and plan to enhance the food and beverage offer across the Restaurant and Event Catering operations at the Museum of Sydney.

The Restaurant footprint is located on the ground floor of the Museum of Sydney is 470m² and comprises of:

  • Main dining room
  • Bar area
  • Colonnade dining area
  • External covered motorised awning seated area
  • Commercial kitchen
  • Toilets

The restaurant, formally trading as The Governors Table, and MOS Café, has been established for over 20 years. The restaurant provides strong utilisation opportunities outside the scope of the current Museum hours, for a bar activation, evening dining, corporate events, weddings, private parties, business luncheons, dinners and cocktail parties. There is opportunity to temporarily expand the footprint of the restaurant to include pop-up activations on the museum forecourt, which will allow for additional profile and patron numbers.
