Members curator-led preview of Narcissus Garden

Join Sydney Living Museums’ Beth Hise for a preview of Narcissus Garden (1966/2002) at the Museum of Sydney.

In Narcissus Garden by Yayoi Kusama, one of the most significant artists of the 20th century, mirrored balls reflect each other and their onlookers, creating an infinitely recurring web in which the surrounding visible world is trapped and perpetuated.

This is a rare opportunity to see this extraordinary and timeless work at the Museum of Sydney, inviting you to reflect on repeated visions of yourself and to consider these visions in the context of being on the site of Australia’s first Government House.

Secure your place in our member-only preview before the exhibition opens to the public on Saturday 20 February.

Narcissus Garden will be on display at the Museum of Sydney, Vaucluse House and for members only at Elizabeth Bay House at various times during 2021
