Members curator-led tour of Narcissus Garden at Vaucluse House
This Event Is
In Narcissus Garden by Yayoi Kusama, one of the most significant artists of the 20th century, mirrored balls reflect each other and their onlookers, creating an infinitely recurring web in which the surrounding visible world is trapped and perpetuated.
This is a rare opportunity to see Narcissus Garden at Vaucluse House, where this extraordinary and timeless work invites us to reflect on repeated visions of ourselves and to consider these visions in the context of a picturesque colonial harbourside estate.
Narcissus Garden will be on display at the Museum of Sydney until 18 April, Vaucluse House from 24 April - 23 May, and for members only at Elizabeth Bay House from late May.
