Members Event: Christmas pudding workshop at Vaucluse House

Join colonial gastronomer Jacqui Newling in the Vaucluse House kitchen for an intimate hands-on workshop to prepare a Christmas pudding in the traditional manner, using Mrs Beeton’s recipe from 1861.

All participants will prepare a 750-gram pudding (serves 4–6 people) in a Mason & Cash ceramic pudding bowl to cook at home.

You will also have the opportunity to explore the house and discover how Christmas was celebrated in the colony.

No experience necessary; numbers strictly limited.
