Josh Black

SLM Foundation is delighted to welcome new Director Josh Black to the SLM Foundation.  Josh has been involved with SLM for a  number of years and is a passionate advocate for heritage conservation. In addition, his experience in the corporate sector brings new networks and fresh ideas for our corporate partnerships and sponsorships. Josh has over 20 years’ experience in construction and property development, underpinned by a background in architecture. Josh is the General Manager of CJ Duncan, joining the company in 2010 following several years with Lend Lease and Kell & Rigby.

Josh has a strong commitment to design and considerable expertise in the delivery of complex and large scale projects. These include high density mixed-use precincts in Sydney’s Jackson’s Landing (Pyrmont), Darwin’s waterfront, and Melbourne’s Docklands. He has successfully delivered high-end fitout & refurbishment projects in the Queen Victoria Building, Government House and Barangaroo. Josh has also undertaken commercial and industrial projects in Shanghai, China for BOC and Maersk. In addition, Josh has worked extensively on heritage sites and understands the value these unique sites bring to the community.

Appointed in December 2018, Josh brings considerable experience, enthusiasm and knowledge to the Sydney Living Museums Foundation.
