The Gold Melting Room

Glass, timber and a flowing, curved ceiling – the innovative design of this room provides great flexibility and choice for your next conference, product launch or AGM.  Automated cedar louvre screens make this a stunning venue for that special reveal. Motorised glass panes allow a flow of fresh air, and access to an expansive sandstone courtyard for refreshments. The stylish bar also opens to the courtyard and is perfect for cocktail parties and pre-dinner drinks.

The Mint Messenger’s Room

Situated on the ground floor of the original Macquarie Street building, this chic character‑filled room offers contemporary and heritage features.

Equipped with a smart LED screen and flip chart, it is ideal for meetings, breakouts or intimate evening events.

The Sovereign Room

Situated on the ground floor of the original Macquarie Street building, The Sovereign Room is a flexible space that can be set in a U-shape, or for group work.

Equipped with an LED screen and whiteboard, it is ideal for breakouts, meetings, presentations, training, workshops, and small cocktail events.

The Boardroom

Situated on the ground floor of the original Macquarie Street building, the Boardroom is permanently set with an oval Eames board table and leather Eames chairs.

Equipped with an LED screen and whiteboard, it is ideal for meetings, presentations, lunches and dinners.

The Mint Clerk's Room, Mint Master's Room and Macquarie Balcony

Located on the first floor overlooking Macquarie Street, these elegant spaces retain many heritage features.

The Mint Clerk's Room is a flexible space that can be set in multiple configurations and when combined with the Masters Room and adjoining colonnaded outdoor balcony it is an impressive and flexible space that’s ideal for workshops, refreshment breaks, presentations, cocktails, long lunches and dinners.

Pearl Catering is our exclusive hospitality partner at The Mint. 

Please note that the service of red wine is limited due to the conservation requirements of the original sandstone.

The Gold Melting Room features the following integrated audiovisual facilities, ensuring clients have access to seamless technology:

  • in-house AV technician
  • data projector
  • 3 x 2.4m (10’ x 8’) motorised screen
  • lectern and microphone, audio system
  • electronic whiteboard

All smaller meeting rooms feature smart LED screens and electronic whiteboards. Our in-house Audiovisual Services team can provide any additional audiovisual equipment you require; set-up and technical support by a dedicated audiovisual operator are included with equipment hire.

Give your guests a fascinating behind-the-scenes perspective on the history of The Mint with a specialised curator-led tour, or we can organise a private visit to an exhibition at one of our neighbouring historic sites.

Bullion Bar and Dining | The Mint

10 Macquarie Street, Sydney

Discover a fresh and casual approach to French Bistro classics at the Bullion Bar and Dining located at The Mint.

Parisian trained Christophe Briet shares his influences from home and abroad while celebrating Australian produce.

With a true artisan approach to food, The Bullion will also offer an elegant high tea experience for guests to enjoy on the Macquarie balcony - one of Australia’s great heritage dining locations.

Bullion Bar and Dining is temporarily closed.

The Mint is located at 10 Macquarie Street, Sydney. There is no public parking at The Mint, however, the Domain Car Park offers a special early-bird rate and is a ten-minute walk from The Mint. Enter from St Mary’s Road.
